Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery involves using extremely cold liquid nitrogen or other cryogenic gases to remove external skin problems like warts, skin tags, fibroma and skin tumors. The CryoPen Surgical System uses linear compression cooling technology that eliminates the need for handling liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic gases. Not only does it make the whole procedure safer for 43rd Ave Animal Hospital’s veterinarians and the pets receiving the procedure, but the pen allows for more precision, too. The attention to detail it provides allows us to hone in on just the tissues that need to be removed, reducing the chance of burns. The procedure does not require anesthesia.

Please give 43rd Ave Animal Hospital a call at 602-705-0534 if you’d like to learn more about cryosurgery and the CryoPen.
