Dr. Jess Darmofal is originally from Mead, Colorado. As a child she always had a passion for animals – she claims it all started with a single pony ride at the fair. Her involvement with horses and riding are what sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Wyoming in 2012, after which she spent 2 years employed as a veterinary assistant. It was during this time that she found her true calling in small animal medicine. She then went on to earn her DVM as a member of Midwestern University’s Inaugural class in 2018.
Dr. Darmofal is passionate about patient centered care and is a firm believer in providing the absolute best quality medicine tailored for each individual pet. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has particular interests in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine.
When not at the clinic you will find Dr. Darmofal hiking or swimming with her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, out at the barn riding her horse, or snowboarding.
